Care Worker Recruitment
Derbyshire County Council have launched a recruitment drive to recruit more care workers to support the county’s most vulnerable residents during the coronavirus pandemic.
Derbyshire County Council are hoping to attract people whose working situation may have changed because of the outbreak, as well as former care staff, young people aged 18 or over and retirees.

Amber Community First Responders
Do you need help fetching some shopping or know anyone that’s does? Do you require a prescription collecting? Maybe just some milk? Or even the dreaded toilet roll?
Some of our responders are able and willing to help where they can so please, if you need any help or know anyone that does please just send us a message.
At the moment have responders who can collect shopping/prescriptions in Ilkeston, Belper, Ripley, Heanor, Langley Mill and surrounding areas.
We are all fully DBS checked and more then happy to help out where we can.
We also have a mobile number for those not on social media to call- 07542404800

Derbyshire Recovery and Peer Support Services
If you or somebody you know is struggling with a mental health concern, Derbyshire Recovery and Peer Support Service have launched an emotional support helpline to help provide support during this uncertain and worrying time. PLEASE give them a call even if you just need to hear someone’s voice, they are all incredible and will go above and beyond to help. PLEASE share regardless if you need this service or not to ensure maximum reach and so people know where they can turn should they need this support ❤️ |
Derbyshire County Council Free School Meals
If your child is eligible for free school meals and their school is closed you’ll be sent weekly shopping vouchers worth £15 to spend on food at a range of supermarkets. The school will send the vouchers to you directly via email or post.
