The event was well attended with fellow Town Councillors Steven Bower and Chris Emmas-Williams of Amber valley Borough Council also in attendance.

Town Mayor’s Charity Fund
Town Mayor Councillor Paul Jones made a donation of £1,000 from the Town Mayor’s Charity Fund to Salcare’s Freedom Programme, which aids people fleeing domestic violence.
Open Day Florence Shipley Residential & Community Care Centre
The Mayor Councillor Paul Jones & Mayoress Councillor Ann Jones were pleased to attend the Open Day at Florence Shipley Residential & Community Care Centre in Heanor.

The Mayor Councillor Paul Jones & Mayoress Councillor Ann Jones were pleased to attend the Open Day at Florence Shipley Residential & Community Care Centre in Heanor.
The Mayor and Mayoress recently attended the Mundy C of E Junior School Horticultural Show that has been reinstated after a five year absence. It was a great success with many stalls, donkeys, birds of prey, goats and alpacas.
Over 1000 people attended the event. Well done to everyone at the school for organising the event.
