Heanor & Loscoe Town Council purchased two World War 1 memorial benches to commemorate 100 years since the end of World War 1
One bench has been placed in Heanor Memorial Park opposite the War Memorial and the second bench has been placed on the Red River Local Nature Reserve, Loscoe.
The benches are a place for people to spend time to reflect, remember and give thanks.
