The Town Council is delighted to welcome a new addition to Heanor High Street. On Saturday 25 April, the Mayor, Councillor Alan Abernethy, officially opened Ezra’s Confetti with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. 

 

Ezra’s Confetti has a truly inspiring story. Established in 2024 from a five-year-old’s idea to create biodegradable confetti for a family wedding, the venture has since grown into an award-winning local business, now proudly operating from its own retail premises. 

 

This new shop represents a valuable addition to the High Street and highlights the strength of local enterprise within our community. Residents and visitors are warmly encouraged to support this exciting new business.
