Join us in Heanor for a full day celebrating making, repair and reuse – with hands-on workshops, performances and activities taking place across the town. 
 
✨ From upcycling fashion and styling challenges with Maison Foo, to playful sound-making with Musical Monsters and the Orchestra of Possibilities, there are plenty of ways to get involved. 
 
🌿 Step into a special afternoon exploring natural fibres with artists Abi Wastie and Amanda Haran – bringing together ancient threads, hand crafts, gentle stories and powerful conversations about the past, present and future of making in Derbyshire, including screenings of the award-winning The Nettle Dress and panel discussions with local makers and growers. 
 
✨ Don’t miss the joyful chaos of Thingamabob by Matt Pang – a hilarious, high-energy performance packed with invention, chain reactions and unexpected surprises. 
 
✨ Explore printmaking and pattern workshops, take part in a town-wide trail, or drop into Val & Friends Community Living Room for stories, conversation and connection. 
 
🌿 Head to Shipley Community Garden for the Greenfolk Festival – celebrating nature, making and growing together. 
 
Come and try something new, get stuck in, and make a day of it with family and friends.
