Heanor & Loscoe Town Council is a Civility and Respect Pledge Council and is Living Wage accredited.
Heanor & Loscoe Town Council employs a small team of office staff: the Town Clerk, Deputy Town Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer. Together, they ensure the smooth running of the Council and support the delivery of the wide range of services it provides. All staff are employed on a part-time basis.
The Town Council also employ 3 caretakers/cleaners who assist in the running of Heanor Town Hall, The Old Fire Station and The Wilmot Street Centre.
The Town Council Offices are based at Heanor Town Hall, Market Place, Heanor, Derbyshire, DE75 7AA . The office is open Monday to Thursday from 9am to 12pm.

Kerry has worked for Heanor & Loscoe Town Council since 2018, having previously worked at Geldards Solicitors. Born and educated in Heanor, she has lived in the town all her life and is proud to serve the local community.
She holds the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA), achieved in 2016, alongside legal executive qualifications, which support her work in local government. Her professional background provides a strong foundation in governance, administration, and legal processes.
In her role, Kerry assists with the management and bookings of the Council’s venues and supports the organisation of a range of community events, including the Christmas lights, floral displays, Christmas lights switch-on, and the Remembrance parade.
